About Loem Thirteen Candles

Hi, I'm Dawn, and I've always believed that a great candle is more than just a pretty jar on a shelf.

It started with gift-giving. I'd pour candles for the people I loved — friends, family, anyone I wanted to show up for in a meaningful way. There's something about handing someone a candle you made yourself that feels different from anything you can buy off a shelf. People started asking where they could get more, and before I knew it, sharing the love of a good candle had turned into something bigger than I ever expected.

That's how Loem Thirteen Candles was born — and the heart of it hasn't changed. I still handcraft each candle in Fort Worth, Texas, in small batches, using a clean-burning blend of soy, coconut, and beeswax.

I believe scent has a way of marking a moment — the first cup of coffee in the morning, a quiet evening on the porch, the smell of something sweet baking in the oven. A good candle doesn't just fill a room, it changes how the room feels.

Every candle I make is finished with a natural wood wick, chosen for the soft, subtle crackle it adds as it burns — like a tiny fireplace on your countertop. Each one is hand-poured, hand-labeled, and checked by me before it ever leaves my workspace. No shortcuts, no mass production — just candles made the way I'd want to burn them myself.

Ridiculously well scented. Made to last.

You'll still find me most weekends at local markets around Fort Worth — but now you can bring a little bit of that market-day magic home anytime.
